Sweet Maralyn's Chocolates

Sweet Maralyn's Chocolates provides custom chocolates created for your special event.  We specialize in weddings from beginning to end.  From your shower to your guest gift bags, we can customize delicious treats for your guests.  The custom chocolates and wedding favors are created with the highest quality chocolate with premium packaging using your theme and tablescape in mind.  We work in conjunction with your florist and linen company to create a memorable experience for your event.  We also work with event planners, wedding coordinators and hotel sales managers to make planning your event easier.

Maralyn was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, in a very large Italian family rooted in the produce business.  She prides herself on her Italian heritage and archives many of the recipes from her family and also from the Cuban and Spanish influences of her friends. Cooking and entertaining is Maralyn’s passion.  She earned her BS Psychology from Emory University and her MBA from University of South Florida.  Through the family business and as a foodservice broker, she became familiar with the top restaurants in Central Florida and produced the now famous Bloomin’ Onion for Outback Restaurants.  She attended classes at LA Burdick Chocolates in New Hampshire, Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley and the Notter School of Pastry Arts in Orlando, studying the art of chocolates from such well-known Chefs as Ewalt Notter, Andrew Shotts and Jean-Pierre Wybauw.  Also, Maralyn was, for over 20 years, a classical ballet dancer.
