True pro , great guy, great sense of humour ( helped take the nerves away ha ha) if I had to do it again I wouldn't choose nobody else photos were unbelievable , we are from England and the photos back to us in time to fly home with!

Steve and his staff have been very kind and professional. My questions were always answered in a timely manner and I loved the fact that they were very flexible with changes I later made on my package. My husband and I would highly recommend Yanman Photography. We chose his 6 hour package that included two photographers, for our wedding. First off, the minute we met him, I knew in my gut, he was the photographer for us. My certainty was based on how friendly, methodical, experienced, and professional, Steve Yanni, the owner, was at our first consultation. Second, the contract was by far the easiest of all our wedding contracts! It was all through a secure online server, which made it easy to edit our requests and pay. Moreover, it made it such a pleasure to not have to worry about sending by mail or hand delivering the checks/payments, like we had to do with all the other wedding vendors we selected. Third, Steve was always easy to get a hold of, by either phone or email, for questions or concerns. Fourth, on our wedding day, Corryn, our second photographer, and Steve, not only arrived early for set up, but also took tons of pictures in an unobtrusive way. The portraits of the family and us were nice and posed, but the rest were photojournalistic, which produced many beautiful and unforgettably candid pictures you don’t get when you ask a person to “just pose.” They both did such a great job. Fifth, the album came out great. Lastly, along with our album, he provided us with a CD of all the pictures taken and released us the rights, so you’re free to get them developed at a local photo shop. We felt very grateful for that other gracious addition to rest of the package we had chosen. All in all, we were so very glad that Steve Yanni and Corryn were apart of our wedding day.

It rained throughout our entire wedding day, and Steve and his assistant were great with us! They even had a cute umbrella handy to take pictures with us and I know they both got soaked. Awesome photographer and very flexible!

We were thrilled with Yanman Photography - Steve (the principal photographer) is extremely responsive, flexible and professional. He traveled out to the beach for our engagement session without hesitation and produced beautiful photos that we (and everyone else) absolutely love! He took tons of photos during our wedding to ensure he captured everything and gave us plenty of options. He has an eye for photography. He and his assistant photographer were incredibly professional at the wedding and proved they could both capture the moment. We feel that the value of Yanman Photography was perfect - We got a lot for our money! He even came through for us when we ordered prints from the lab. Overall, Steve and Yanman Photography provided incredible, timeless photos at a great value, while exuding professionalism and followed through on everything. Our pictures turned out FANTASTIC! Steve was extremely knowledgable, confident and personable...everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera because of him! His style was right up our alley - took amazing shots both formal and casual - and always made sure to capture the personality of each person! I love these guys!! Steve Yanni and his brother are fantastic! Not only are they super-nice guys, but they are great photographers as well. The packages they offer are excellent. I shopped around, and they offered ebverything I was looking for, and at a good price. Steve made himself available to me whenever I had a question, and always responded promptly. We enjoyed our engagement shoot and the wedding was great! The pictures are beautiful and Steve even made a slideshow for us with our song, which was a great surprise. He edited the photos quickly, and we are really happy with the results. I highly recommend Yanman, especially if you are nervous and don't like having your picture taken. These guys will have you relaxed and smiling in no time!

We had a destination wedding and Yanman Photography did a great job at capturing our special day. I would have liked a few more random pictures of the day but we didnt have very much time for photography. Overall, excellant job!

Staff was wonderful. Photos were beyond our expectation. Very pleased with pictures and to recieve multiple copies were very easy. Priced very reasonable.

For the costs associated, he's pretty good (we did a lot of cost comparisons before choosing Steven, and he was a bit less than the others). Very responsive and patient. But not the most "warm" photographer you could ask for. All-in-all, we were satisfied with our photos, but are confident that another photographer may have spent more time creating higher quality posed photos.

I had the best time working with Steve! He is very creative and open-minded with a great sense of humor, and very interested in satisfying the photographic needs of my family. Not only was he there to capture the best night of our lives, but he also participated in the fun while covering all of the activities in a non-intrusive way. I cannot say enough about the services of Yanman Photography. We booked Stephen about a month before our wedding and were working with a limited budget. Not only did he respect our budget, but he treated us with the attention as if we were spending much more than what we did. From our first meeting to our final product, Stephen acted with total professionalism. He was in touch when necessary leading up to the wedding, touching base about a week before to make sure all was well, and his work during the ceremony and reception received many compliments by our guests. Several people asked who our photograph was and commented on how well he moved throughout the crowd, catching special moments without being intrusive and using a great sense of humor to bring about natural smiles. Stephen was more than accommodating when we asked him to stay an additional two hours at our reception and honored the prices we had discussed in our initial meeting. Though in general we feel that professional photography is quite expensive, we have not regretted the money we spent with Yanman Photography. In an industry where it is common to feel you spend a lot of money for an average product, we feel that the service and quality product that we received for the price was well above the standard (as Yanman Photography was one of the more affordable companies we had looked into). It was only a couple of weeks after the wedding before we received our first proofs and we were blown away by the sheer amount of photographs Stephen had taken! For as many compliments he received regarding his presence at the wedding, our photographs have received that much more praise. I highly recommend Yanman Photography; you will encounter a professional who treats you with respect, values your opinions and budget concerns, is incredibly flexible, and gives you a final product that you will cherish.

We got to see Steve’s work first hand at the wedding of close friends a few months prior to our own event. As attendants, Steve’s adaptability, creativity, and sense of humor put us at ease from the start, and that vibe certainly carried through to the time of our own big day. Although we already loved the artistry that we saw on his website, we also appreciated the planning session he had with both of us to ensure he knew where each of us was coming from, and what concepts were most important to us. During that planning session, he was attentive to the examples we provided, careful to clarify what aspects of certain shots we were drawn to, and made sure we saw great examples of his existing work. I even had a stash of favorite sample shots on Flickr that I was sharing with friends from out of town, and he offered to “do his homework” and study those favorites more if I sent him the link. True to his word, when our big day came, Steve knew exactly what we wanted and delivered big on not only the few shots we wanted closely replicated, but also put his creative spin on the overall feel we described, and gave us shot after shot of gorgeous detail and special moments. He worked with his 2nd shooter in great teamwork to get multiple angles or take care of separate groomsmen and bridesmaid shots at the same time, to keep things moving and have as many photo opportunities as possible. Steve was very professional but also brought an aura of calm capability and light humor, which helped us relax and feel comfortable in our different locations, so that our pictures came out with the focus on the moment and on us, not feeling stiff or overly posed (ok, so there had to be one or two exceptions, but we had to try SOME particularly posed shots!). We waited with great excitement for our sneak-peak shots on his blog, and initial slideshow on Pictage.com and couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. Steve captured our special moments and then some! When picture after picture drew our “ooh” and “aah” and “no, THAT’s my favorite” comments, we knew we had found a gem of a photographer.
