The Adonai Trio

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.....to make a long story short, i booked a violin and cello for 2 hours for my ceremony and cocktail hour. a violin and guitar showed up AN HOUR late without so much as a phone call. (i was panicked) they proceeded to play for half an hour and then started to pack up! to make matters worse, i emailed the owner with my experience and not only did i not get a simple apology, she couldn't be bothered to even respond. i would NEVER recommend this company.

Perfectly amazing! They showed up early, were dressed elegantly, and I received many comments on how beautiful the music sounded! Thanks so much, it was perfect!

I didn't hear much of the music because most brides are tuned out and dazed walking down the aisle, but I did get SO many compliments on how awesome our Trio was. Ruth was so nice and easy to work with and they were so accomodating! They are very affordable and I would recommend them to any bride!

We really appreciated the job that the Adonai Trio did with our wedding ceremony music. Ruth and I corresponded several times via e-mail, and she was always very quick to respond. She was able to accomodate all of our music requests, including a fairly last-minute addition. As for the music itself, it was all that I had hoped for. The guests were VERY impressed by the elegance that the string trio added to the ceremony. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend the Adonai Trio.

We thoroughly enjoyed having the Adonai Trio at our wedding. Their music was wonderful. However, I had an incredibly difficult time getting in touch with them! My mother booked them because they had done an excellent job at my sister's wedding. We were trying to coordinate several musicians, including a praise team and an organist, for our ceremony. The Adonai Trio just never got back in touch with us. So when our wedding day arrived, they showed up on time and I guess worked things out with our organist. The wedding guests definitely enjoyed the music during the seating and prelude, but because they had not communicated we didn't get to have them play at all during the rest of our ceremony. The only time I heard them was on our video! They play beautifully, but I was disappointed overall.

Adonai Trio was the one part of my wedding that went horribly wrong. We had little contact before the wedding. I asked repeatedly for a song list, and when I got it, it was short and quite 'typical', which disappointed me. I had to shorten their performance time by 30 min due to a change in schedule and when I told them months beforehand, they refused to reimburse my money to me. One member was late to the prelude start time. They were VERY out of tune. At least they played so soft nobody could really hear them, because when I walked down the aisle with my father, I immediately cringed at the sound and looked for my coordinator to tell them to stop playing completely, instead of enjoying my moment. And throughout the ceremony when they had to play, I was embarrassed, instead of focusing on our special day. I would never recommend them to anyone. So sorry to Adonai, but I depended on these online reviews when I hired them, and now I regret it wholeheartedly. I hope my review helps someone out there.

Ruth was great to work with and made sure we got the music of our choice played at our ceremony. My guest loved the live music that played at the ceremony and cocktail hour. There price was affordable and well worth it.

we hired the Adonai Trio off of the internet, we never sat down with them and didn't speak with them on the phone- only through emails and regular mail- so you can imagine that I was very nervous about the ceremony music- Happily I can state that my worries were for nothing! They were great- they respected the church we had our ceremony in and dressed appropriately and came and set up and left without any problems- I LOVED the music- it was So Beautiful and I'm Happy that my childhood dream of hearing Pachabel Canon on my wedding day happened .. I would Highly Recommend the Adonai Trio! Very professional!
