Sophisticated Gents Entertainment/DJ & Event Design

I must admit, that my husband and I were very wary of hiring a DJ for our wedding. We wanted something VERY low-key but with good energy and seriously contemplated just having a friend DJ or playing an iPod during our reception. We interviewed a few DJs in town. We had heard about Frederick and how great he is, but mainly heard of his high energy. We were a bit worried about someone with "high energy" thinking it would be too much for the type of wedding reception we wanted. What ultimately made us hire Frederick was his professionalism and how he actually listened to what we wanted. Other DJs had their own agendas and ways they wanted to run "the show." We. Had. The. Best. Wedding.!!!!!!!! Frederick took care of our ceremony music, cocktail hour and our reception. He played the music we wanted and mixed up different genres in such a great way. We had the absolute BEST time at our wedding and could not have asked for anything better. We had a small wedding (45 or so people) and EVERYONE danced. The dance floor was never empty and the music suited everyone from our age group (late twenty to thirty- year olds) all the way up to my grandmother. Frederick did not create a "show" out of our wedding. He made a wonderful memory for us. Our guests raved about him and keep telling us how much fun they had. We are so grateful we were able to have Frederick be part of our wedding. He added such fun to our wonderful night.

I had nothing but compliments from everyone on our DJ! He kept everything moving along smoothly, without being too overbearing. He came up to me and my husband several times throughout the night to make sure we were happy with the way everything was going. They allow you to choose songs that you definitely want played, and ones that you want on your "do not play list". Everything is done online so you can be sure you have everything covered! They made the whole process very worry free!

Sophisticated Gents provides excellence service. We chose them to DJ our wedding, and it was wonderful. My family was so impressed to, and still chatting about it. We would highly recommend them for any function you might be having. Great service, very professional, willing to work with you. A little pricey, but remember - you get what you pay for.. and we had GREAT service.

Loved DJ Fredrick, and he threw in some special twist to our reception, that got everyone talking! The wedding wouldn't have been the same without this awesome DJ!

Freddy the DJ was so awesome. He kept the party going all night long. We had such a good time. We also used Freddy for the up lighting in the reception hall and that turned out so great.

Amazing! This DJ was well worth hiring. They can accomodate anything and are very easy to work with. Our DJ had everyone laughing and dancing until the last minute of the reception. Even the grandparents stayed all the way until the end. They also have so many options of lighting etc to really customize your wedding, and they did alot of the process online which was very convenient. I would for sure recommend them.

Sophisticated Gents provided the music and lighting for our wedding on June 5, 2010. Frederick was so much fun to work with and really knew how to get our guests to have a good time. I am still getting compliments on how good the music was and how much fun everyone had at the wedding. They also projected our logo onto the dance floor which looked stunning. We could not have picked a better DJ. We worked with Frederick for our wedding reception arrangements but we did not have him as a DJ, he was very helpful and professional. We had DJ Kevin for our actual reception and he was AWESOME!! He made our night VERY special and helped out a lot. People that were at our reception are still talking about how awesome the DJ was! Thank you so much for being part of our special day! I would recommend them to ANYONE!

We will definitely use sophisticated gents in the future for any services requiring a DJ! They did an amazing job keeping the party going and getting everyone at the reception involved. Working with Frederick made our lives easier and less stressful. Sophisticated Gents also does Event designs that are gorgeous.

Frederick and team did a great job facilitating the lighting, ceremony music and reception entertainment! He was very easy to communicate with and really took the time to listen to what we wanted to have happen. He has the entire day planned out like a play and he executed everything flawlessly! We were so glad that he was able to make our day so special!
