Sensational Ceremonies

We used Rev. Rick Lackore for our wedding in January. I had a special situation where I was moving to Chicago, so we needed to meet well in advance, and then do most communication via email. Rick was very accommodating and the ceremony selections were perfect. We created such an amazing ceremony, that everyone in attendance complimented. Everything from start to finish was flawless and perfectly executed. Thanks to Rev. Rick Lackore!! I highly recommend Sensational Ceremonies services!

Rev. Rick Lackore officated our wedding 12/24/2011 posted 1/7/2012 Rev. Rick Lackore was wonderful to work with to assist us in preparing our wedding vows. Rev. Rick kept in touch with me for over a year just checking in on how things were going with our wedding plans. The day of the ceremony Rev Rick did an awesome job in helping me (the Bride) relax once I got down the aisle. Our ceremony was beautiful and we thank Rev. Rick very much.

Reverend Swan was great to work with! He was attentive to our needs, and very responsive through the whole process. We got exactly what we wanted on our wedding day, and couldn't be happier. He was also very thorough in giving us direction on what we needed to do to make things as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Rev. Glynn Ferguson performed our ceremony, and he did an absolutely wonderful job. He listened to what we were envisioning, and he definitely made it happen. He was professional, and arrived on time to both the rehearsal and the wedding day. He explained everything we needed to do during our rehearsal and made sure that everyone knew their role and what they should be doing. He even helped the groomsmen put on their boutonieres on before the wedding! I highly recommend Rev. Ferguson and Sensational Ceremonies for your wedding day.

Rev. Rick Lackore performed our ceremony and we could not have been more pleased! He was always available to answer questions and helped me draft a beautiful ceremony using bits and pieces from their sample ceremony words and a few sections of my own. Rev. Rick Lackore recently performed our wedding ceremony. We could not have been more happy with the outcome. From the first time we met with Rev. Rick, he showed a genuine interest in making sure that our ceremony reflected what was important to us. He helped to guide us through the process of customizing our ceremony so that it met all of our criteria. Anytime that we had a question or needed some advice, Rev. Rick was always quick with a response. The day of the wedding was of course a very hectic time but Rev. Rick helped keep us calm and helped to make sure everything went off perfectly. Reverend Swan was everything you could hope for in an officiant. He's kind, helpful, & organized- we received our wedding license only a few days after returning from our honeymoon! He also offers premarital counseling. He is very helpful & supportive when making changes to the ceremony to personalize it. We met other officiants from Sensational Ceremonies & they are all great- we highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about Rev. Rick Lackore! He performed our wedding ceremony at the Renaissance Vinoy on 11/11/11. Rev. Rick was excellent at communicating with us and never missed a beat. He made us feel very calm and comfortable throughout the wedding process. He is an absolute pleasure to work with. He was also so helpful at our rehearsal with helping to organize the ceremony. Our ceremony was beautiful, and Rev. Rick contributed greatly to that! He is an excellent speaker and very well prepared. His performance was truly heartfelt. He even stays in contact after the wedding, which is so nice to feel that we have his support! I would highly recommend Reverend Rick Lackore from Sensational Ceremonies to everyone! As part of our package, we got an officiant from Sensational Ceremonies. There are several officiants to choose from, but Reverent Rick happened to be the one that I called and I’m so glad that I did! My husband and I knew we wanted him to officiate our wedding as soon as we met him! He’s very warm and friendly, and he immediately made my husband and I feel comfortable. He started by asking us questions about our relationship, how we met, and our families before we started talking about the ceremony. He always responded quickly to my emails and helped us create our own unique ceremony. He emailed us several pages of different readings, vows and rituals and we got to pick and choose any and all that we wanted. The wedding ceremony went beautifully and all of my guests loved him! I would highly recommend Reverend Rick to anyone who needs a wonderful officiant!

My fiance and I were so beyond thrilled with the service we received from Rev. John Shaw that I had to share right away... John is such a caring, organized and professional person and we knew upon first meeting that we wanted him to marry us. He met with us like we were friends of his, not just a couple people looking for a vendor. He genuinely cared about making our day special and even met with us again and spent extra time with us. He is very responsive, very personable, and my whole family loved him!As he is newer to the team at SC I don't see as many reviews on his service as others but I have to tell anyone looking for an officiant to not hesitate one ounce in hiring John. He has a great delivery, great cadence, and was very, very professional during our entire planning process. John C. is more than words can say! He is highly organized, which I LOVED! He was very easygoing doing the premarital counselling. They have this wedding kit that prepares you for the ceremony and John was always available for our concerns and helping us with our vows! You want someone who is down to earth and highly organized, this is your guy!

Rev. Rick Lakore was wonderful to work with as we planned our ceremony. He made everything so easy; he provided templates from which to select from and helped us make our day exactly what we wanted. The ceremony itself was fantastic; he was professional and very accomodating to our casual, beach wedding.

Sensational Ceremonies was a preferred vendor through our venue and coincidentally enough someone had already recommended Rev Rick to us. I'm Catholic, my now husband, is not, but Rev Rick was willing to work with us to give the ceremony a bit of Catholic flair. He had multiple ceremony formats from us to choose from and was very flexible in letting us mend them together and even was able to incorporate readings we wanted to use. He was very organized and kept the lines of communication open so I was very at ease knowing the ceremony would go smoothly. Despite a few hiccups during the ceremony (someone tripping and me jumping the gun on the vows), Rev Rick added his own humor to the situation and the nerves were calmed. I feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work with Rev Rick because he was a great officiant!

Reverend Steve Swan was our officiant. He was always very responsive as we were making our ceremony choices. He worked to make it just what we wanted. And he went with the flow when we made a small change the day of. I was very pleased with Rev. Swan.

What Can I say, Rev. Glenn was an important and amazing part of our wedding. He covered every detailed and truly helped us along the way. I have worked with Sensational Ceremonies professionally and will recommend them HIGHLY!!! Even more so now that we have used them PERSONALLY. Rev. Glenn completed our loved filled ceremony and made it everything we ever dreamed of.

Since my husband and I did not belong to a church at the time we knew we wanted to hire an officiant that was also a pastor. I had read very positive reviews about Sensational Ceremonies and after meeting Steve Swan at a bridal show, I knew instantly that he was right for us and our wedding. He had one consultation with me and my then fiancé and my fiancé also became a fan of Steve. We got to know each other by telling Steve how we met and why we loved each other and Steve told us more about himself and why he enjoyed officiating weddings. Steve was very genuine and really seemed to care about his couples. My husband and I felt very comfortable with him. Steve explained to us exactly how things would work and he made it very easy for us. We had nothing to worry about. He sent us a ceremony packet where we basically got to create our own ceremony but he was very responsive and helpful when we had questions and asked for his input or opinion. Thanks to the ceremony packet Steve gave us that provided us so many options to choose from, we were able to create a ceremony that was special and unique to us. With Steve’s help, we created a beautiful ceremony. We could hear guests whispering during the ceremony about how beautiful it was and many of them commented afterwards. My husband and I could not be happier with Steve Swan and Sensational Ceremonies.
