Old Town Trolley Tours

We arranged for the trolley to pick our guests up from the church, give them an hour tour, drop them off at the reception venue, pick the wedding party up, drop us off at the venue, then pick everyone up and drop them off at hotels and our final bar location. Old Town Trolleys kept in touch with us leading up to the wedding and all throughout the day of. They were timely and everyone commented on what a nice touch it was to have the trolley tour! It was just as we planned and we're glad we contracted with them!

They ruined my entire wedding time line for the day. I had on the contract that they were to pick-up guests at 6:15pm from the ceremony site, give a mini-tour and then have guests arrive at 7pm to the reception. The ceremony started at 5:15pm and was over by about 5:45pm, which left a window of time for formal family photos. Unfortunately, the trolley attendant made an announcement telling guests he was going to leave (even though he arrived BEFORE the pick-up of 6:15pm). Guests rushed to the trolley. Some were told to come back but only so many people could hear instructions being shouted at them outdoors. Needless to say, it was a missed opportunity. Not only did they do this, but I think they had my wedding mistaken for another and picked up my guests from a location BEFORE the ceremony to take them directly to my reception venue at around 4:45pm. They didn't verify the wedding group and most of my guests waved at me as they zipped past me in the trolley while I was making my way in the horse carriage towards my ceremony. The trolley followed me to the ceremony. That ruined my surprise entrance into my own ceremony. Because of the early pick-up (the wrong trolley that I never asked for which lingered during the ceremony) guests arrived to the reception venue early and were stuck waiting outside with no restroom access. That was difficult for people that were elderly, young or expecting. And to boot, the trolley driver said he would pick-up everyone at 10:45pm even though the contract said 11pm. So, before my exit, guests rushed out pre-maturely and missed the last dance and sparkler exit. I am very disappointed in the services and would not recommend them but it is entirely up to you. Hope this helps with planning.

This was a good idea that turned out great! In St.Augustine parking is at a minimun and can be expensive. The church allowed our guests to stay parked in their lot after the wedding and the trolley picked up our guests after the service and took them on a tour of the city until our reception started. Everyone commented on how fun and informational it was. People who had lived in that area said they had never been on the trolley and wanted to come back and do it again. One benifit we never thought about was that all of our guests arrived at the reception at the same time, so there were no guests strolling in late. After the reception, it was raining so they arrived back at the reception site in a closed trolley and delivered people back to their cars and to some of the close by B&Bs. We would highly recommend their services.

We had them pick up all our guests to take to and from the ceremony to the reception. They were awesome. Everyone thought it was such a unique touch to a wonderful day. They were pretty cheap considering they took everyone every-where and were so easy to work with. We are always late and they were very easy going and not rigid about the times, they did the exact number of trips it would have taken and made sure all the guests were taken care of.

Wow. They were so helpful in getting our guests from the beach ceremony to the old city and back. Our driver, Julie, gave out her cell number and we called when we needed pick ups. Hiring our own shuttle was a great idea.
