Rev. Melissa Straub officiated our wedding in November 2011. She was amazing. She took the time to talk with us and determine what we both wanted from our ceremony. After that conversation, she emailed us a rough draft of our wedding ceremony. It was exactly what we hoped it would be! We didn't change a thing because she completely understood what we wanted. After our wedding, we received many compliments about the words that were spoken by Rev. Straub. I would highly recommend her!

ahhh were do we start... Well first off we would like to let Rev. Melissa Straub know we are more than greatful for her generousity, hospitality, heartfelt ceremony she wrote for us. We are a lesbian couple that searched and searched for someone in the Cocoa Beach Area to perform our ceremony for us. Not only did she welcome us with open arms but let us into what she had to offer us. Our options were endless. Living in another state and not ever seen the beach were our ceremony was going to be held she insured us she had the perfect spot. We took her up on it. She was more than helpful in all the choices we were making. Not judging us by any means. Only telling us that LOVE is LOVE and nobody is to judge us. We wanted to have an arch. So she informed us of her getting a new bamboo arch and that we could use that one when and if she recieved it before our ceremony. She had all the supplies to decorate but we wanted to insure that the colors matched up, we sent her the color fabric and also two starfish for her new arch. The package that we choose had a sand ceremony kit included, but we had already purchased our own which shipped to her before hand. So in replace of the sand ceremony kit we had our rose ceremony. In which we decided to release our roses that we exchanged into the ocean in memory of our lost loved ones. It was simply breathtaking how she worded the whole ceremony for us. On the day that we were suppose to have our ceremony it had rained and rained and we think it rained for days prior and oru day so we decided to move it to the following day. Yes it did rain on that day also. But to know avail when she showed up to the beach the rain went away and the sun came out. Our hearts just melted. She brought sunshine to our day. We were more than excited. The decorations were perfect, the mood was set, and the words she put together for us are indiscribable. We cant thank her enough for what she has done and how she made us feel on our day.Thank you Rev. Melissa for taking care of us.Tiffany and Amy in TN

She was the best, and we were very satisfied. She was so nice and warming that she felt like part of the family. She also gave us some great advice that we needed. I would highly recommend her.

Everything was wonderful. Melissa was very Flexible. I needed to change Ceremony Venue at the last minute due to weather and Melissa was GREAT about it. She did a lovely job. The sand Ceremony was beautiful. The sand vases she got us were exactly what we wanted. I wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you Melissa for making George and My day special. We could not have been more satisfied with the service we received from Occasionally Yours Brevard. Melissa wrote a beautiful ceremony for us and worked with us to make it uniquely ours. She had wonderful suggestions and was a pleasure to work with. Our guests continue to commnet on how beautiful and unique the ceremony was. Additionally the photography was much more than we expected. The pictures were beautiful and matched the somewhat casual tone of the wedding. The ONLY thing I would have changed would be not to have an outdoor wedding in Florida in July- there was not breeze on the beach as we had hoped!
