It's Tasty Too

Our cake was amazing! Not just because it was 'my wedding' cake, it was truly amazing. They were able to make a 100% customizable cake to our exact flavors and specifications. Their input was professionally provided and greatly appreciated to help make our crake look amazing! Our cake itself was not sufficient to 'feed the masses' but we had discussed baking additional sheets to do so. This helped keep the cake cost to a minimum whole keeping me and my fiancé's pockets 'happy'. The cake tasted PHENOMENAL!!! I highly recommend It's Tasty Too not just for a wedding cake but for birthday, shower, promotion, or just because cakes!

I found Heather and Jay's shop through Wedding Wire, and I am so happy that I did. I waited to order a cake until almost the last minute, so I did not have time for a cake tasting, which made me a little worried. Well, I shouldn't have been! I sent them several photos of what I wanted, and when I walked into our reception, I couldn't believe how perfect our cake/cupcake tower was. I cried! They delivered it on time, decorated it exactly how I wanted, and on top of that- it was DELICIOUS. I am a huge cake/cupcake critic, and this was literally the best cake I've ever tasted. I felt that their prices were affordable, and they truly provided the wedding cake of our dreams. I highly recommend It's Tasty Too for your wedding cake!

The tasting was awesome! Heather had a sample of every cake flavor and filling they had so my friends and I got to try some of each. The 4 tiered cake turned out just as I imagined, and my husband and I were lucky enough to be able to try each of the 4 flavors we chose. Everything was delicious! As stated in a review below, they do only answer emails on Mondays and Tuesdays so it can be a few days to receive a response.

Wow. Our cake was unbelievable. We couldn't have been more thrilled with the design & it really was tasty too! Our guests couldn't stop commenting on it & it's the hit of our facebook pictures! And they even give you an anniversary cake for your 1st anniversary for free so you don't have to save the top tier for a year!

Tasty Too is great! There cakes are DELICIOUS and they are at a great price. They help to work within you budget and meet you wants/needs. The only thing is they are not fast at responding via email (but they do respond) if you need a quick response its best to call. I can't wait for our anniversary cake for our 1 year (they make you a new one fresh!)

I had a good experience with Heather and Jay at It's Tasty Too. They provided cup cakes and a mini wedding cake and also cookie favors. You simply can not beat the price. When i was trying to describe to Heather what my dream cake would look like she flipped through her book and found a cake she has already done that was inspired by my Martha Stewart dream cake. I thought it had to be done with fondant but she assured me she did it with butter cream and that she'd top my cup cake tower with the mini cake. I had three cup cake flavors with three different fillings that were executed perfectly. I then worked with Jay for the cookie favors and he did a great job. I gave him a picture of how i wanted the sugar cookies to look just as inspiration but he went ahead made them look exactly that way. Everything was delicious too! The only reason i gave a 3 on responsiveness is because they can only answer e-mail on Mon and Tuesday, which is understandable since it's only the two of them. You'll just have to ask questions ahead of time and you'll be fine.

It’s Tasty Too was recommended by a friend and I’m so happy we went with them. We got everything we wanted and more and still came under budget. We only expected to get a 3-tier wedding cake but were able to get four tiers and a groom’s cake. Heather was a pleasure to work with and very flexible. I showed her pictures of different cakes I liked and she quickly sketched something up for us that we were able to tweak until we got exactly what we wanted. Unlike some of the other cake vendors, Heather’s cake tasting included every single flavor and filling we wanted to try. They are very small pieces so I wouldn’t recommend bringing more than 1 other person to the tasting as it would not be enough to get the full effect of what the cake would taste like having to share with too many people. It was just my then fiancé and I that went to the tasting. We had four different flavors of cake on our wedding day (counting the groom’s cake and our cake top tier) and all four were delicious. The cake was absolutely beautiful too. We will definitely be using It’s Tasty too again in the future.

Our tasting was fairly easy, as my husband and I aren't very fancy people. We had a 4 tier cake with 12 individual mini cakes. We also had a special request of a birthday cake in the shape of a muffin for one of my bridesmaids' birthday. The muffin soon became the hit of the reception and I think is in more pictures than my husband and I! The only issue was that we owed a $30 balance and they called me on my wedding day to ask me to pay. I found out later that they had called my home phone the day before, but we were already at the resort. Probably something that could have been taken care of a week before when my husband dropped off the toppers. However, the cake was wonderful and the value was great.

Heather at It's Tasty Too! was great. She helped me pull off a suprise Penn State Grooms cake, that was stunning! I sent her a picture of what I wanted and it looked EXACTLY the same, could not believe it. Our wedding cake was very simple (white with gold accents, Lee Forrest Florist added real fresh red roses to it). I loved it. The flavors of the cakes teirs were delightful. Our favorite was the Ameretto with Ameretto cream and in second was the Strawberry with Chocolate filling.

Heather & Jay did such an amazing job on our cakes. We had a traditional wedding cake as well as a grooms cake!The selection of flavors far surpassed every other bakery we met with and the prices were so much more reasonable. The cakes that were delivered to the reception tasted EXACTLY like those we had in the shop. They were moist and so terrific! Heather & Jay were able to work with us to "save the day" when our original catering company went out of business with just a couple months to go and they were so helpful, patient and flexible.Both cakes were so gorgeous that I didn't want to cut them. I will NEVER go to another baker for any special cake we need in the future!

It's Tasty Too has amazing prices and they are really beautiful cakes. They also have the best tasting product that we have tried! I loved everything they offered it was hard to choose a flavor! It turned out beautiful!

We had a great experience with It's Tasty Too! I gave them a picture of a cake I found online and they duplicated it TOO A TEE!!! I was so impressed! They also offered a different cake flavor for each layer and they make a top layer for free on your 1 year anniversary! Their prices were unbeatable compared to other places and I would highly recommend them.

The cake they made for us tasted good. They provided a good value for the amount of cake you get. The staff was very friendly and responsive.

Our wedding cake was beautiful! We were both very happy with the result. It tasted great too! They were very flexible with our requests and actually we changed our colors of the cake about a week before with no problem at all. We got to taste each and every flavor of cake, icing and filling they had. It made our decision very simple. They drew a picture of what we envisioned and the end result was just great!!

When we went for the tasting of the cake, I knew I wanted to book It's Tasty Too. Heather was very professional and took all our ideas and ran with them. Once we had them booked, it was a little difficult contacting her and Jay. But they would always respond, so that's a plus. The day of the wedding came and I went down to see both the wedding cake and the groom's cake. The wedding cake looked AMAZING! It was beautiful! The groom's cake I felt was put together in a last minute rush, so I felt that not enough time was spent on it. We also ordered cookies as wedding favors, so I went to check those out as well. I didn't see any cookies, so I started asking everyone where the cookies were and they said that Jay didn't leave any cookies. I freaked! I called Jay and he said that he had left them in the back of the truck but he would turn around and bring them back to the venue. Way to make me stress on my wedding day! But I am grateful that he wasn't too far and that he did bring them for guests to have. They were cute...not quite what I was expecting, but they were nice and everyone commented on them. If I had any advice for brides, I would say make sure you contact them often just to make sure details are squared away and come your wedding day, make sure everything is there! I know accidents happen, and I'm not bashing It's Tasty Too. I would certainly recommend them and use them again, but I would know to pay attention to what is being delivered.

Beautiful cakes and amazing flavors. My cake was design exactly as I wanted it to be, very unqiue and well made. Everyone loved the cake and wanted some for home. I cant wait for my one year wedding anniversary to get my free top tier ;-)

Heather is an amazing artist AND cake baker! Her designs were the best BY FAR than any of the other cake places we went to! She was very easy to work with and her cakes taste so deliciously moist! (And she was one of the more affordable cake artists too!!) It was absolutely perfect!! She gets an A++++ form us!

After shopping around for a LONG time, my fiance and I found It's Tasty Too! and we fell in love...with cake :) We went in for the cake tasting and there were so many options to choose from. Different cakes and different fillings all very delicious, it was very hard to choose. After much deliberation, we came up with the perfect wedding cake and grooms cake. When the big day came, we couldn't have been happier with how everything looked. The cakes were beautiful! and Tasty too :)

Heather at It's Tasty Too was AMAZING!!!! She had tons of flavors to choose from that were all delicious! we brought in a picture of what we wanted and she sketched it out right in front of us and gave other ideas that would work well with the style we choose! Day of the cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! She also did our favors! we ordered cookie favors and they were custom made just for us! and a huge hit with our guests!!! Highly reccommended!!!!!
