Harpist Christine MacPhail - Wedding Harp Music

Christine was so responsive to every e-mail I wrote. She suggested songs, sent a helpful worksheet, did not require payment until the day-of, brought all of her own equipment (amp too) and even included a special "musical meditation" during our ceremony. It was a very nice touch to have live music at our wedding, and Christine was the perfect choice!

Ms. MacPhail is a harpist that everyone should have at their wedding. Before contacting her, we read previous reviews and decided to have her perform at our wedding. Her fee is affordable and her performance is beyond words. She even comes to your rehearsal. You can feel the lyrics in her magical fingers as she plays the harp. Please make her a part of your special day, you will not regret it.

Last minute I had my ceremony harpist fall through I searched many review websites and came across Christine! I am glad my harpist fell through because Christine was amazing!! My guests are still talking about her. She is responsive and timely. What I loved most about her is that she plays songs that are not just the traditional wedding songs she played current music and that is what I really loved! Amazing! Splendid! Gorgeous! Brilliant!... These are all words that our friends and family are STILL using to describe Christine MacPhail's harp music for our wedding ceremony. As the bride, I loved Christine for two simple reasons: (1) she is an incredibly talented musician and (2) she is a genuinely wonderful person. When my husband and I started planning our wedding, I knew that I wanted to have some songs played during our ceremony that were non-traditional. But when I tried contacting different musicians, they all refused to learn anything new (to them) and told me that I would just have to pick songs from their current repertoire. However when I contacted Christine, not only was she ready and willing to learn as many songs as I wanted, but she was even excited about it! So from the very beginning, I knew that Christine was going to be a delight to work with... and throughout the process, she far exceeded my (very high) expectations in every way possible. Without a doubt, Christine was the easiest to work with out of the vendors we contracted for our wedding. She was always enthusiastic, organized, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond in so many ways. I cannot speak highly enough of her. I am so very grateful for Christine and all that she did to make our wedding ceremony absolutely perfect!! Christine was an absolute joy to work with. She was very prompt to communicate with me and the pricing was very reasonable. Christine’s playing was truly phenomenal and she definitely has a vast array of musical selections. We requested different arrangements from Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, The Cure, a few Disney songs, Storybook Love from the Princess Bride, Frank Sinatra, and Avenged Sevenfold... all of which sounded so beautiful and were easy to recognize. Christine is truly a master of harp playing and I highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in having a harpist perform at their wedding!

Christine was so fun to work with and did such a wonderful job at keeping my guests' ears full of beautiful harp music!! She had played at one of my sister's weddings and I knew I had to have her play at my own! She is so professional and easy to contact! She sent a wonderful playlist to me and let me pick out some of our favorite songs, classical and current, and also provided a worksheet to know what type of songs we would need (i.e. processional, recessional, ceremony, etc.). I hadn't thought of half of those things, so it was wonderful to be able to have a Christine send it over. She is so sweet and I would recommend her to anyone!!

Christine is such a talented musician. Her music added such a great touch to my niece's wedding, I was so glad that she was not booked on that day. I can't imagine a wedding without her music. She is the best, there is not a song that she cannot play.

Words cannot say enough great things about Christine! She is one of the nicest wedding vendors you could have, and she was super excited about my wedding! She happily learned and played two songs that were never before requested -- Jonathan Cain's "Bridal March" (for my entrance) and "Big Pimpin" by Jay-Z (for the groomsmen). My bridal march was played beautifully, and from what I hear, the groomsmen loved Big Pimpin. :) She found me after the ceremony and gave me a huge hug! It felt like she was an excited friend throughout the whole process. She really is great and you won't regret it if you book her!

Christine MacPhail is such a gem. Not only talented and amazingly nice but professional and passionate. It is always amazing to find someone as passionate about she is about the service that she provides but she is-and we are so grateful for it. Our wedding day was amazing and would not have been complete without her harp music. Even going the extra mile to provide us our music via email so we could use it for practice! Wow. Christine did a wonerful job at my ceremony and reception! Her music really set the tone for the relaxed brunch reception that we wanted! She even learned Hey Ya! for our recessional! She was so easy to work with and responded quickly to my emails! She is just plain Awesome! :)

I cannot tell you how thrilled we were with Christine at my daughter's wedding. Professional but warm, charming, and with that special personal touch. So very talented, our guests could not stop talking about hearing certain songs on the harp for the first time. Classy, yet whimsical and fun at the same time. Not only is Christine an extremely talented musician, but the sweetest woman you will meet. I met her at a bridal show and must have spent 30 minutes talking with her.
