The half star that we are giving to Karen Lupica is solely for the quality of the vendors that she knows. We were satisfied with them, but not with Karen. We were very disappointed with the lack of care, attention, and service that we found when we hired Karen. We are upset that we actually paid her, because we ended up doing the planning and follow through all by ourselves. She only came to a couple meetings with vendors, although her packages all claim that she will help you much more than that. We lost count of how many times she flaked out on meetings because she had something come up with other brides. In the end, this planner spoiled a large part of what should have been something wonderful for us, and we would hate for that to happen to another happy couple.

Our experience with Karen Lupica from Exquisite Weddings of Central Florida has been extremely poor. She failed to fulfill key parts of our agreement including coordinating our rehearsal (not even showing up). There were items that were agreed to be setup for the wedding that were never setup. In addition, expensive materials from our vendors are missing and priceless items from our wedding are also gone when she was responsible to properly return these items to us. The worst part is that any attempt in the 9 days since our wedding to contact Karen Lupica has been unsuccessful. We have left numerous messages via e-mail, Facebook, texting, and phone without a word back. Even though Exquisite Weddings of Central Florida’s pricing was reasonable, I would have rather paid another company more to ensure that I would not have to do my rehearsal on my own and pay my vendors for items that are missing and sentimental items that I cannot replace. After searching the internet, I was not surprised to find other reviews like mine. I wish I would have seen them sooner.

I can't say enough how amazing Karen and her team were! I was referred to Karen by my maid of honor, and I will now recommend her to everyone I know getting married!! From the big picture to the minor details (like putting my garter on for me in the middle of the reception because I forgot LOL) she had everything covered!! The wedding was more than I could have possible dreamed of and we couldn't have done it without her and her team!! Love you to pieces!!! Thank you SO MUCH!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! What I thought would be my best investment turned out to be my worst. While Karen was intially responsive - back in the spring 2010 - soon after she went MIA. She took days if not weeks to return my emails (if she returned them at all). To make matters worse SHE DIDN'T EVEN COME TO MY WEDDING. Instead she sent a friend, Jen (who was wonderful - although not a professional coordinator. Even Jen said she didn't know Karen wasn't coming to the wedding. She was only asked days before to "help out"). She wouldn't answer my calls on the day of my wedding and several aspects of my wedding didn't happen (like a slide show I spent months preparing) because she wasn't around to coordinate. Heck, my wedding started a half hour late because things got so backed up since no one was around to give direction. I have been trying to contact her since my wedding and she won't return emails or phone calls. In addition, she had the NERVE to post on Facebook a thank you to all my vendors who worked so hard to make our day so beautiful. I hope this serves as a warning to anyone who was thinking of hiring her - go elsewhwere!

I was referred to Karen and Exquisite Weddings of Central Florida by another vendor because she thought Karen, my fiance and I would get along really well with our personalities. I am sooo happy she suggested Karen! I met with her several times through the course of our wedding planning process (which started 18 months before the actual wedding). From the very first day I met her, she was asking tons of questions to get to know my fiance and I. She really cared about making our wedding day perfect. On the actual day, January 29th, she was at the church with us and then left for the reception to set everything up with her other girls. When she pulled me into the ballroom at the reception, I was blown away by how amazing everything looked. It far surpassed my expectations and I cannot thank Karen and her crew enough for all they did for me. They were there the entire time, from seeing me off at the ceremony, to filling tons of vases with flower petals, to bustling my dress every time it fell, and directing me on when to cut the cake, and what not. Thanks again!!!!!!!!

Karen was the most amazing wedding coordinator I could have asked for. She made sure that all the little details were covered and even helped tie my dress before I walked down the isle. She is such a positive person and she went out of her way to get problems solved before I even had a chance to think about them. I would recommend her to anyone. She will make your special day amazing!! Thank You so much!

It's amazing that there are as many good reviews as there are. I still am not sure why I was provided with poor quality in certain aspects, to the way that I was. My wedding has passed, and with some time to reflect on the decisions I made, going with this Wedding Coordinator was by far the worst decision I made. It saddens me to have spent so much money (given at a discounted price too!) only to be left with myself, family, and my wonderful bridal party to come through in the end. So many times I was told I was foolish for hiring someone, but I assured myself it would turn out a success. It says a lot when the florist calls the bride the morning of the wedding, during breakfast to ask where are the flowers being delivered to, and why can't the planner be contacted or return a call. Or why the DJ asks 'so what kind of time breakdown did you and the planner come up with' the 1.5 week before, and there wasn't one. I think what I am most appalled at was the service I received in the end, when I actually had a little bit of hope that she would come through and make all my worries and anxieties disappear. Communication did get better via e-mail, but still felt like it was all talk with little show. When comparing Duties of a Coordinator on the contract, to the actions carried out by the planner, it was clear that the planner their-self broke the promises and contract that was in writing to be upheld. Is it all on the bride to ask and for help on things such as invitations, call RSVPs back, florist confusion with with final decisions and centerpieces, bridal shower details, Rehearsal dinner the night before, and following through with the details at the reception hall?? There was no asking, do you need help with ____? Or tell me when and where you're doing this, so I can help. Days and days would go by before replying to small e-mails about important information; and for this, I felt in the dark and as if nothing was progressing. The day of the wedding, the Coordinator team showed up around 1pm while I was getting my makeup done (time for limo arrival was 4), so start to ask what I needed help with. At that point, I could only blurt out the things that were racing through my mind because I had broke out into a sweat with my girls in the reception hall. That was the most help I was given throughout the whole planning process. I felt our hard working money should not have been given in payment to someone who did not deserve it. Thing that baffles me most, is to this day, do you really think they have guilt for performing in such poor manner? Or is that the quality of service that everyone is given? For the future brides sake, I hope not. There was no real apology, even AFTER "nixing" the remaining balance because I refused to pay for the services I was not receiving. I am a fairly calm and collected person, even as a bride, and didn't have the bridezilla moments you might think of when you think of a stressful wedding. Do I think things could have been run better? Absolutely! Whatever the reason for these happenings, I can not tell you. Maybe I asked too many questions, or came off as too worried (like ALL brides do), then maybe something differently should have happened on their part to reassure me. I personally think it is over booking and not being able to handle the launch of son-to-be successful company. Unfortunately, I can not give a positive review. I was determined for my wedding day to not be ruined by my poor decision to keep the Coordinator. So for those who read this, I can hope your experiences with this company are not like mine and are not left feeling like an idiot for money spent.

Karen and her team were absolutely AMAZING on my wedding day and were extremely helpful all of the days coming up to the wedding! I had a short engagement period (5 months), I was pregnant (only a tad hormonal(; ), my "DJ" bailed on me a wk before the wedding, and the possibility of wedding crashers could drive a bride INSANE! But, thankfully, Karen was there to make everything go smoothly! Love Love Love her and her team <3 Made our day the BEST day of our lives!!

Karen and the EWCF team are the best! Karen really worked with us to make sure we got the most out of our budget. She's connected with a lot of awesome vendors, and knows exactly what will work best for you. The day-of coordination went absolutely perfect! We were looking for peace of mind, (especially since we were planning a destination wedding) and that's what we got with EWCF. The few days leading up to the wedding were not stressful at all because we knew all the little details (plus a few surprise extras!) were being taken care of! Another bonus is that Karen and her team are so fun and creative! Our day was more than we could have imagined. Thank you EWCF!

Karen and her Dream Team were AMAZING!!! Thanks to them I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding. I do event planning for a living and I must say these girls were excellent at anticipating my and my husband's needs, not to mention their attention to detail. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Thank you Karen and your team for being so compassionate and great at what you do. I couldn't have survived the day without you!

I had requested info from Karen about a year before my wedding. I shopped around and decided that I was going to do most of my own planning. As the wedding date got closer, I started to stress out and become overwhelmed. I had emailed Karen again, not remembering that I had already done so almost a year ago. She remembered me and I ended up booking her for the month of the wedding. My fiance was not too keen on me getting a planner, since he thought I had everything under control. I assured him it was well worth it, which it was. Karen and her crew were AMAZING the day of wedding. Even my fiance was so impressed and happy that we had Exquisite Weddings of Central Florida coordinating our wedding. Every detail exceeded our expectations that day. She made sure our day was perfect and stress free!

No amount of words can convey the level of talent "Karen Lupica" has. She goes above and beyond what her calling is. Even sneaks in wonderful surprises that you will never forget. Case and point, when it was time to preform our exit at the end of the night. Karen had given everyone sparklers and had everyone line up and hold them up and out. It made the night trully unforgettable. It even made our final pictures look like something out of a fairytale. Everything is done in a timely fassion with a precision that we truly believe cannot be duplicated. Even the rehearsal only took 15 min. because she is just "That good". My wife and I no longer see Karen & her team as our wonderfull wedding planners, but our "Wedding Hero's"! If we had to do this all over again, nothing would be changed. Karen we love you!!! <3

Having Karen as our wedding planner was a wonderful choice! Since neither my mom or I had ever planned an event this big, Karen was a lifesaver in tying the loose ends, making sure we were not forgetting anything major and making sure we were following the proper wedding etiquette through it all. Another thing she was also great at was securing all of our linens and bows, especially since I was set on having a specific color scheme of black and gold. She somehow found all the linens we needed and at great prices for us! She also worked extremely well with all of our other vendors, which became increasingly important as our big day arrived. One of my favorite moments was when Karen came over to our house to help us assemble our 130+ candy glass wedding favors. We had them all laid out on the table and set aside a few hours in our day for us all to get them done. Needless to say, to our surprise Karen took all the boxes of favors home with her and assembled them all for us saving the rest of the day. Karen and her staff were also exceptional the day of the wedding. As the bride, she made sure that I was completely comfortable during all the events, made a personal visit to my house to check on me and my girls, and also swiftly took care of all the small crises leading up to walk down the aisle. I also loved that my husband and I were able to get personally escorted to see our reception room before any of the guests were allowed in. She and her staff even went out to find one of my luggage bags during the reception that I realized I had left in my car while trying to get to the church on time. After the wedding, I found it safe and sound in our hotel room with my other luggage (which was a relief because I had my passports in there!). Overall, having Karen as our wedding planner has been a pleasure and I truly believe our wedding was better, much more beautiful and a lot less stressful because of her work! Thank you so much! Exquisite Weddings of Central Florida truly went above and beyond all of our expectations. For one, our wedding was in Murfreesboro, TN which is obviously not Central Florida. Even so, Karen and her amazing team made the 10+ hour road trip and were so helpful. The weekend of the wedding, EWCF made all our reception favors, centerpieces and decorations that we had leaving the Bridal Party free to really enjoy that weekend. For the ceremony, having Karen and Jenn there to place the wedding party, cue entrances, place programs and handle all the odds and ends was a great relief. I felt totally confident that everything would be perfectly planned and executed with EWCF directing the action and it truly was. During the ceremony, EWCF had Erin and Janet at our reception site preparing for our arrival. They made sure that the seating arrangements were set, our decorations were exactly as we wanted and everything prepared for our entrance. As a surprise to us, Karen had got chair covers for the receptions which is something that I had wanted, but had decided against in an effort to try and save some money. I was so happy and they were perfect. All throughout the reception, a member of EWCF was always readily available for anything I needed. Exquisite Weddings of Central Florida was with us every step of the way and offered suggestions and recommendations throughout our entire planning process and the wedding weekend. Their insight and experience was very valuable and aided in ensuring that we had the wedding experience of our dreams and more. Their professionalism, enthusiasm and passion really came through on our wedding day. Karen and her staff are people who understand the importance of having the perfect wedding and have the experience and willingness to do whatever is needed to make it happen. Karen did outstanding work taking care of all the details leading up to the wedding. The work Karen did dealing the vendors a few days before the wedding took a lot of stress off the both of us, she went above and beyond. The wedding day could not have gone better, it was a breathe of fresh air to know that her and her assistants were there taking care of everything. Karen did a fantastic job dealing with the hotel and all vendors with the last details on the day of the wedding. We keep hearing how beautiful the wedding was and how people have never seen anything like it. We can not Thank You enough.

I've never met such fun loving people. Karen really made my day extra special! I was able to sit back and enjoy my wedding! She was always there when I was in a crisis and helped in anyway possible. I highly recommend her services to any bride to be!

Karen was an amazing coordinator. She took on my wedding several weeks before the big day, but you would have thought she was involved from the start. Her calm, friendly, and professional manner made me feel at ease immediately. She was eager to help me with anything, and took on tasks I never even thought a coordinator would. I was so happy, and the day of the wedding went off without a hitch because of her and her team!! She was there to even hand me my purse when I was walking frm the reception into the getaway limo. She was enthusiastic, and made me feel appreciated and very special. Thank you so much Karen, you made my dream day possible!!

Karen and those under her employ were easy to get along with, easy to talk too, and understanding of our time and budget constraints. I would recommend Exquisite Weddings of Central Florida to anyone! Karen made us feel comfortable from the moment we met her and it lasted all the way to the end of our wedding reception. She made sure to take our personal tastes into considerations and incorporated it tastefully into a wedding that couldn't have gone any better. We love Karen and her team and hope that others are as lucky to find her as we were.
