Arlene was the perfect coordinator! She was always on time, detailed, and most of all she took everything we wanted into consideration and executed our ideas with perfection. She has great relationships with a lot of vendors which helps when it comes to negotiating pricing and trying to make the right choices for your wedding or event. The vendors were great but Arlene has a lot of creativity of her own as well. She pretty much designed the look for our reception and cocktail tables as well as the ceremony area. And our sweetheart table was unbelievable! The best thing we liked about her is that she's versatile and has an outgoing personality; the kind that gets you excited about everything. She exceeded all of our expectations. And we didn't have to lift a finger on our wedding day!

I was highly disappointed with the quality of service I received on the day of my wedding. I hired Arlene for full service coordination about 9 months before my wedding. Leading up to the weeks before the wedding she was very responsive and helped to organize many vendors for the day in person and through numerous emails since I was getting married in my hometown of Orlando, but I reside out of state. Prior to the week before the wedding, my only complaint was I felt she was not as budget conscious as I would have liked because her suggestions always seemed to be way over budget and I had to reminder her of the budget for each category, which is something I would expect my planner having to do to the bride, not the other way around. For example, nearly weeks before the wedding, I was finally told that I could receive FREE linens through the catering company, which looked even better than the nearly $700 linens Arlene was pushing me to rent from a vendor friend of hers. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, she left me to do nearly everything. It was really disturbing considering I knew she had several wedding in the same month and it seemed like she devoted tons of attention to those weddings so I thought well during my wedding week she would do the same, NOT. Arlene came to my house to pick up some items and instead of offering to help with some incomplete items, she just left me with a nearly impossible to-do list days before the wedding. However, it just felt easier to do things myself because her suggestions for simple things like printing a basic seating chart to go inside of a frame cost over $60 from her vendor friend, when Kinkos quoted me under $20. On the day of, she told me it was a liability to have her assistant drop of the guys flowers to a different hotel which was down the street to a different hotel than the one on our original itinerary, which was totally out of my control due to the hotels error. Arlene took it upon herself to tell the videographer to not show up to my hotel to record us getting ready and instead to just meet us at the church so now I have no footage of that, which I paid extra for, and also due to her mistake the photographers hours were not allocated correctly so they left before the sparkler send-off. Instead of helping us stick to the given time-line, Arlene and her assistants sat down most of the reception causing us to skip our speech to thank our parents and guests and also numerous photo and video moments that we will never be able to get back. I was truly disappointed in her day of behavior and would not recommend her services.

If you are looking for a take charge get it done so you dont have to worry wedding planner then Arlene is your gal ! She is very organized and detail oriented. The day of the wedding I never laid eyes on her except when she got out on the dance floor during line dances to kick it off and show everyone how its done. You might wonder why is it a good thing that you never saw her on the wedding day? Well, if I did that meant she wasnt doing her job which was running around in her flats making sure everything was perfect. If anything went wrong I never heard or knew about it which was awesome. She was FABULOUS !

I am so happy I decided to get a wedding planner for my wedding and especially with Designs by Cornelia. Arlene was the best she helped me get thru this past year and the wedding day. Her team was professional and lots of help on the wedding day. All my family and friends were very impressed even my vendors. The best investment I could have made with such a wonderful company and person. thank you so much.

I absolutely love Arlene and all of her unique ideas! Calling her was the best decision I've ever made. From the very beginning, I knew I had chosen the right person. Her charisma and bubbly personality made me feel as if she was an old friend. First and foremost, she is a professional. She never let her personal life interfere, even when it was justified. Arlene had the most amazing ideas, and my friends and family are still buzzing about the amazing details and careful planning at the wedding. I never had to worry about ANYTHING! She took care of it all, whether it was contacting vendors, adding flare to otherwise mundane items, or simply surrounding us with the perfect team of people to make our day as memorable as possible. If I had to do it all over again, I would have called her sooner! I would recommend her to anyone. Without Arlene my life would have been in disarray, but because of her I had the perfect wedding!

The wedding planning done by Designs by Cornelia Weddings & Events was professional, efficient and truly unforgettable.We got what we wanted and more. I truly enjoyed the communication throughout the planning period, the advice given and the way everything just ran so smoothly. On the day of the wedding everyone was on time and there was not one moment of anxiety. The family was able to relax and enjoy every moment of the wedding because everything was handled exceedingly well by the wedding planner.The center pieces were very unique and admired by everyone attending. Never in my wildest dreams did I think my wedding could be this amazing and beautiful! Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication.
